Why is the Martha Stewart queen-sized sheet collection unable to fit my queen sized bed?
I don’t think the Martha Stewart brand of anything be inferior because it is sold in K-Mart. I bought the queen sized set, 500 count, Egyptian cotton sheets to fit 17″-18″ mattress. I measured my mattress – 12″. The fitted sheet doesn’t even go over all 4 corners. martha stewart collection whiteware The flat sheet is way too wide as one side is positioned at a good length on one side of the bed and falls on the floor on the other!! The label indicated that the more the sheets are washed the softer they get. I’ve washed them once before using. Will they get smaller with each washing? I don’t think any name-brand item be of inferior quality even if it is sold in “low-priced” stores. This sheet set was on sale but that should not make a difference. I am very disappointed that I didn’t get “Martha Stewart” quality when I purchased the sheet set. I am not at all happy with my purchase and if I could get a message to Stewart, I would let her know how I feel. Anyone else have the same problem??
